bat wings (lila style)

• Lila, you're obsessed with your bat wings today.  You begged all morning to go to the soccer field at Charles Best (I still don't know why you love that field so much!) and you ran around for a couple hours.  You begged to go out again after dinner, but I told you we had to go to a prettier field, and you were super happy with that.
• I'm still not sure why they are bat wings.  It's so silly because they're pastel and sparkly and flowy.  But there's no arguing with you once you've decided something.
• George, you came along to play soccer.  You're in love with Katie's new soccer ball.  Katie has been teaching you how to kick properly and you're actually pretty accurate with your passes.  I'm thinking that I may sign you up for soccer instead of hockey.  I have a feeling that you're going to be good at any sport you try and our family seems more like a soccer family than a hockey family.  But I guess time will tell.
• Katie, you came along to learn how to take golden hour photos.  You did so well!!!  I just can't get over how easily this is coming to you.  Hopefully I can find the battery charger for your camera soon because the battery is getting low and the charger is nowhere to be found.  
• Katie, I love how the babies enjoyed looking at the photos you took of them.  They got a kick out of you taking the photos instead of me.
