day 9: 67 days of summer
Day 9. Biscuit is still missing. Ian hired a pet tracker (https://www.petsearcherscanada.com/#) to come and try to find her. The good news is that they found fresh scent in the area behind our complex, and since she’s been gone a few days, it means she’s still out there somewhere. Katie and I handed out posters and spoke to all the neighbours on that street. The tracker said the most likely thing is that she got spooked by something and has switched into survival mode and will only come out at night. We’ll go back after dark to look for her. It might take some time, but we’re hopeful that she’ll come home. I miss that cat. Sigh. Shirley and Basil came for a vino-on-the-patio visit this evening. Basil has got to be the cutest dog in town.
