portraits of a tween

A couple days ago, I took portraits of all my kids in a way I felt represented them at this moment in their lives. Here's Katie.  Katie Bean.  She was my baby for eight years.  And then suddenly she was the second oldest of four, but I still see her as my baby.  But I look at these photos and see the teenager she is quickly becoming and I feel a pang of longing for that sweet little snugly girl.  But then I look into the future and can't wait to see what she becomes.
