cousins

• Katie, you wanted a hoodie for Christmas, and Auntie Becca had a brainwave....you all have the same hoodie now!  They're from the racing company Auntie Becca works for.  I made you go into back yard for a couple photos. 
• It was so cold today.  Minus 30 when we woke up. 
• George and Lila, you and David and James made a gingerbread house.   If I had to guess, I'd say that about 50% of the candy was used as decorations and the other 50% was in your bellies.  You were flying high after the gingerbread house was completed.
• I made cinnamon buns this afternoon.  I haven't done that for a long time. They were delicious.  Katie, you were especially happy.  I think you had four or five of them.
• Somehow Auntie Becca and Grandpa ended up at the kids table at dinnertime.  They were good sports about it.  Actually, they were probably enjoying being away from the chaos of the big table.
• Auntie Pam and Erica came over after dinner to ring in the New Year with us.  We played games and ate lots of food.  I love Pam.  She's so funny and easy to hang out with.  Erica is sooooooo beautiful.  I can barely believe how grown up she is.  
• Everyone made it up until midnight except for Auntie Becca, David and Lila.  George, we were surprised you were there to see the ball drop.
