- Jane, you were home sick again today. Sometimes i can't tell if you're physically sick or not, but to me, physical/mental/spiritual sick are the same thing. if you need to stay home and take care of any of those aspects of your person, I'm cool with that. I love you. I like having you around
- George and Lila, you were bonkers this morning. In desperate need of some outside play. I had seen a massive cluster of forsythia and took you there to pick some of the "wovewy yewwow fwowers." We took the scooters and bikes with us as well. We were there all of ten minutes before it started POURING and we were forced to leave. We weren't far from daddy's school, so we stopped in for a visit
- We had a nice time visiting daddy. We got to see his new room where he teaches EAL. It was fun to watch Mr. Newbery in action
- George, you have a cold. When you have a runny nose, you always tell me that you have "snose." It's the cutest thing
- Auntie Becca and Uncle Dan and the kids arrived just before dinner. We've been eagerly anticipating their arrival. They spent the week in 100 Mile with grandma and grandpa, then stopped here for a couple days on their way back home
- Lila and George, you were so excited to see "McDavid" again. I just loooooove it that you call him McDavid and he doesn't seem to mind at all
- Things got wild, and auntie Becca was attacking you with a poo emoji stuffy. There was a lot of wrestling and general craziness. Good stuff. I love having family around
- Jane, you wanted to make a special dessert for the Pipers. You found a chocolate mousse cheesecake recipe to try. Everyone "assisted" you (aka tasted testing everything very thoroughly)
