budget
George, when Jane got up this morning, the first thing you asked her was if she could put some make up on you. She did foundation, concealer and one eye…and then you lost interest. It was taking too long. But the one eye looked pretty cool.
Jane, you and I had a glorious morning (for real!). I signed you up and gave you a lesson in YNAB, the budgeting software I’ve been using for years. It’s more than a software though, it’s a philosophy and a life style. I love it. By using YNAB, daddy and I have been able to live comfortably on one income for most of our married lives. You were super interested and told me you really like budgeting. It was music to my ears. Money shouldn’t be stressful. I remember I heard someone say that “more money isn’t the solution to money problems…creativity is the solution.” I wholeheartedly agree.
I went to Poirier to meet Auntie Kim for coffee and a chat during Zach’s game. It was so good to see her. My working is really getting in the way of our coffee dates. Zach is such a little superstar! Plus he’s adorable in his suit. I just wanted to squeeze him, but I controlled myself. Next time he may not be so lucky.
Katie, you are the hostess for a little visit between Sara (with no h) and Ethan. He came out from Mission last night and will go back tomorrow. George and Lila, you are the world’s greatest chaperones. Those two had exactly zero minutes alone together. I’m thinking of renting you out to parents of teenagers.
