buddies
- Jane, I drove you and a couple friends downtown to do a school project. You were interviewing the woman who runs the 411 Seniors Centre Society. You're entering a contest to try to win $5000 for your chosen charity. I hope you get it!!
- George, while Jane was busy, you and I went to Trout Lake and met up with Sandra and Gigi. Good thing I brought a change of clothes for you because it took all of four seconds before you were in the water up to your waist. You crazy kid. The fall colors are all sorts of glorious right now. So pretty.
- Jane, of course you and your friends didn't bring a lunch, so I gave you my debit card and trusted you to make good choices. You did good! You guys went to McDonalds and got a meal, then met me back at our meeting spot. You said the interview went well.
- Jane, I ran into one of daddy's hockey buddies at your school. He teaches there. He and daddy got into a fist fight during one of their games last year. I still have a hard time imagining daddy fighting, but I've heard the story from a few different sources. They patched things up and apparently now, they're good friends again. Boys are so weird.
- George, you felt pretty cheated that Jane got lunch at McDonald's and you didn't, so I ended up dropping the girls off at school again, then you and I went on a lunch date.
- Lila, we picked you up from school and then played for a couple hours. The weather is so incredible, I'm determined to make the most of it. I was able to convince both you and George into some portraits. You guys are beyond adorable.
- Lila, it was movie night at your school tonight. I did not want to go. I was tired and done for the day. Jane volunteered to take you. Thank you Jane. I appreciate it so much. I drove you there and got you settled. You watched the Emoji movie, ate popcorn, drank lemonade and had ice cream sandwiches at intermission. Our neighbor gave you a ride home, which was greatly appreciated on my part.
- Katie, you had a nice relaxing evening. With Jane and Lila away and Georgie in bed early, you had the place all to yourself. I'm happy you get to do that once in a while.
