- Today was another day off school (third four day week in a row!!) This morning we did a big clean. Getting all four of you to clean out your closets, tidy your rooms and clear the clutter was a big job. It probably would have been easier to just do it myself. It was like I had asked you to poke red hot pins in your eyes. Oh my goodness. The amount of complaining and excuses was impressive. We finally finished before lunch. It was an ordeal to be sure.
- Jane, after lunch we saw Dr. Bradshaw again. It was FASCINATING!!! He did a neuroscan of you brain. It was the coolest thing I've ever seen. You've got a great brain in that pretty little head of yours.
- Katie, you babysat George and Lila while Jane and I were out. You texted me to ask me to come home ASAP because Lila was having a hard time. Apparently she believed that a fly flew up her nose, and she was quite distraught.
- Katie and Jane, you're both spending the night at your friends houses. Katie, you're at Marian's, and Jane, you're at Tia's. I came in to Tia's to talk to Vanessa for a bit. We had interrupted her painting, so I told her to continue and I watched her for a while. I find painting fascinating. Vanessa recently acquired a painting of herself as a young girl. I love the photo of the young Vanessa watching the present day Vanessa paint.
- Lila, when I came back home, you were writing your Christmas list for Santa. You've got probably 20 or more sheets of paper taped together so you have enough room to write everything down. So far on your list you have a butterfly pillow, Frozen nail polish, and a playdate with Brooke.
- The other day I was nearly involved in an accident. I saw the car coming towards me and knew it wasn't going to stop even though it had a red light, so I stepped on the gas. The car hit the truck behind me. It was scary. It most likely would have hit us right where Georgie sits. I'm reminded to be grateful for everything I have.
