creating again
- Katie, you had soccer out in Mission at 9:30 this morning. It was hard to get up and out of the house by 8:30. Sunday is my day to sleep in, but I was ok with missing some rest to watch you. It poured rain, but you never seem to mind. I watched you tie your goalies laces. It was pretty cute. I guess she can't do it with her gloves on. Your team lost 3-0. It doesn't seem to bother you when your team loses. Actually, it doesn't seem to bother anyone except the coaches.
- We stopped in at Costco and had some poutine because daddy has been craving poutine the last couple weeks. It was good, but Costco was a total zoo. I'm glad I have the option to go during the week when it's actually somewhat pleasant to be there.
- I had a long nap this afternoon. I've been having headaches the last week or so. I actually think it might be my hair causing them. I need to get it cut. It's down to my waist now. It gets really heavy and then my neck starts hurting and I get headaches. I'm just so darn lazy about getting my hair cut. I don't really know why.
- Lila, you missed me today. I didn't really see you until after my nap, which was just before 5:00. I miss you too. I feel like I don't see you any more. I think I'm going to plan some one on one time this week.
- Lila, you are suddenly scared to sleep in your bedroom. You don't want to sleep in there. You said it's the "underneath" that scares you. You often come out and sleep on the couch or make a little bed on the floor.
- Jane, you drew today. It was good to see you creating again. You drew and colored a dragon for a school project. It's pretty great.
