snow & sunshine

• Today was the day I've been looking forward to.  Auntie Georgia offered to take George for the day so I could spend the day alone.  It was my birthday gift.
• Unfortunately Katie, you weren't feeling well.  You went to Auntie Georgia's with George.  She made a little sickie bed on the couch for you so you could rest and relax.
• George, you took your Super heroes in your little suitcase, your blocks, and your shovel in case you needed to help shovel snow.   You made a "pwomise" to yourself again that you would enjoy your time there and not fuss.  You're the cutest.
• Daddy stayed home from school as well.  He's not feeling well either. 
• I dropped everyone off at school then came back home and cleaned the kitchen.  I can't seem to relax when the kitchen is messy.
• For the rest of the day I laid in my beautiful bed with my warm soft fleece sheets and binge watched The Crown.  Both daddy and I enjoyed it.  
• Daddy went and got us butter chicken for lunch from our favorite Indian place.  It was delicious.  
• Lila, daddy picked you up from kindergarten.  You were overjoyed to see him.
• Auntie Georgia made tea for everyone when daddy went to get you.  I stayed home and gloried in the silence.
