fall turning to winter
- Again, the sunrise was my favorite thing that happened today.
- The fall leaves are lined in frost. Lila, you collected them this morning, but you've finally figured out that you need to rest the leaves on something other than your warm little hands if the frost is to survive. You brought them to your teacher, who saved them outside for the rest of the class to look at. You were so proud of your collection.
- George, I served leftovers for dinner tonight. You came to the table, and looked at it and said, "Not this again! It smells like poo!" Sigh. The amount of verbal abuse I take on a daily basis is astounding.
- Katie, you did manicures for the babies this evening. You're so patient and kind with them.
- Katie, your practice tonight was terribly foggy. Apparently yesterday, they had to cancel practice because the fog was so thick they couldn't even see the ball.
