lick
- We spent the afternoon with the Plesmans. Zach had a tournament in Burnaby, so we went to watch a game with them. I'm so grateful for this family. Auntie Kim and I have been friends for a million years. We're lucky to have her in our lives. She's the best person I've ever known
- George, you were crazy. Happy and hyper. You missed your nap to be there and you sure put on a show. I'm not exactly sure how you got so dirty, but wow, that was a lot of dirt. You were licking the glass. I yelled at you to stop, but then decided I needed to document it. You lick EVERYTHING. The shopping carts at the grocery store, the escalator handrails, various and assorted things you find on the ground. I try soooooooo hard to get you to stop, but you just don't. But...you also don't get sick, so maybe all your ingested germs are making your immune system strong
- Zach got a penalty. He's your new hero
- Jane, you had a babysitting job today. I can see the beginnings of your breaking away from family activities, and your growing independence. I'm really happy for you. I got such nice feedback from the family you babysat for. I love the system you have for your money you earn. One envelope for spending, one for saving and one for investing. Smart move, kid
- Lila, you stuck pretty close to mommy today. You saw a little boy your age at the rink and I could tell you wanted to play with him, but you couldn't bring yourself to ask him.
- Katie, I love hanging out with you. You're so silly and you make me laugh. We have lots of inside jokes and little things we do and say to each other. You're a master at pestering George. Good luck in the future when he gets bigger and stronger and smarter. Haha. The tables will turn
