mom, i'll drive the vacuum

• George, you've been super dramatic and silly lately.  You make me laugh
• Katie, you always spend a ton of time Facetiming Keegan and Jack on the weekends.  They adore you and you're so sweet with them
• Katie, you made a Kahlua cake for Uncle Ben's birthday.  George and Lila "helped" you.  You're pretty patient with them 
• George, you helped me vacuum.  You call it driving the vacuum.  On a related note, when I shave my legs with an electric shaver you say that I'm vacuuming my legs
• We had Uncle Ben and Auntie Georgia over to celebrate Ben's birthday.  Lila, you were pretty excited about it.  You love surprises.   When it was time for the cake, you made everyone cover their eyes because the cake was a surprise for Ben.  You were completely delighted with the whole situation
• George, Katie and daddy took turns stealing your cake.  You weren't impressed.  You were "very much mad to them" but you got over it pretty quick
• We watched Pete's Dragon together.  Uncle Ben brought the snacks.  We ate so much tonight
