hockey love

• Jane, playing Monopoly with auntie Shari is a tradition.  She's pretty much the only one who will play with you because you're completely ruthless.  She beat you today.  
• Daddy and I walked down to Tim Horton's for a little coffee date.   We got coffee and a bran muffin.  I'm feeling like our order kinda says something about our age
• Jane, I finally made an appointment for a haircut for you.  The salon you went to was so cute and the hairdresser was great.  You came out of there feeling like a million bucks.  
• We went to a vintage furniture store after.  Lila, you were completely sure we needed to buy that little ceramic Christmas tree
• Jane, you made dinner for the whole gang tonight.  Green beans with ginger and garlic,  sesame noodles, and teriyaki chicken.  So delicious.  I'm happy you like to cook and you're really good at it!
• Lila, you brought your santa hat to grandma's house and slept in it every night.  Sometimes I wonder where these ideas come from.  I'm impressed by your commitment to them
• George, you've been playing hockey with Jack pretty much non-stop.  You've been sleeping with your hockey stick every night.  I love your enthusiasm and passion
