on the road

• We left Kelowna today.  Lila, you were so incredibly organized and packed all your things all by yourself.  It's like you had a check list in your head and mentally checked everything off as you got them
• There are two snacks we always have on road trips.  Red licorice and Spitz.  The middle console of the van is littered with various devices, snacks and garbage.  We're not the neatest family on earth, but we always have a good time on our road trips
• We were stopped on the Coquihalla for over an hour and a half.  George, you got so dirty in a really short amount of time.  You have a special talent for that
• The snow banks on the side of the road were so high I couldn't see over them at some points.  We've had an amazing amount of snow this year
• We usually stop at the McDonalds in Hope.  It's "our spot".  Lila, you were so cute.  You settled into the corner and hung out and ate your meal.  You told me it was a "pewfect pwace to wewax"
