hi auntie georgia!
- George and Lila, you keep asking to go visit Auntie Georgia, so we made it happen today. You were quite excited and each packed a backpack to take with you. George, you packed your new hockey guys to show her, and Lila, you packed a gift! You found a little wind chime a few days ago and really loved it. You decided that you would give it to Auntie Georgia "because she wiww weawwy wove it because it's so beautifuw!"
- We had a nice little visit and came home by noon for some lunch and so that I could work on my taxes. Yikes!!!!! Seriously, I disgust myself sometimes with my procrastination. I drive myself crazy with it. I'm working on getting into good habits and routines with daily things around the house, and I'm actually doing pretty well. It's like I just don't have a system for these things, and I push them to the back of my mind all the time because I always have more urgent everyday things calling for my time and attention
- It rained and rained and rained today. And it was cold and windy and grey...and not at all like summer. I'm ready for warmer weather
- I finished making dinner, then looked at the clock and it was only 4:20. What the heck? We ate anyways. And that was the beginning of the longest evening in the history of the world. It was painful. I had the babies in bed by 7:15, but it felt like it was already midnight. Maybe because it was so overcast and gloomy today
- Katie, you had a hard time this evening. You sat on my lap a couple of times and had a little cry. I think you're just tired because you've been busy with extra stuff at soccer and school. You asked to go to bed at 7:00 (whaaaaaaat???) and you fell asleep as soon as your head hit the pillow.
- Jane, you made a cake for the second time this week. This no-electronics thing is turning out to be a win-win-win for me! You made lemon loaf, but it wasn't finished in time to eat tonight, so you're saving it for breakfast.
