this is how ian socializes
- Today was Spencer's birthday. As usual, Auntie Cindy put on the best party ever. You guys made rockets and Shawn filled them with vinegar, then Auntie Cindy added the baking soda and replaced the cork. After a few minutes the rockets exploded and flew up about 20 feet in the air. So cool!
- Inside, she cleared the dining room and made a bubble wrap floor. Why is popping bubble wrap so satisfying. She gave me some to take home :)
- In the living room, she made outer space out of balloons. Star shaped helium balloons on strings were taped to the floor, and the windows were blacked out. Everyone was super excited about it...and it stayed intact for about three minutes
- For dinner, everyone brought an interesting bbq sauce. She made platters of numbered cups with all the bbq sauces in them. Uncle Mark barbequed chunks of chicken and steak, then we all tried the sauces and made notes of our favorites. So many different flavors! I'm proud to say that the sauce we brought was in the top three
- Lila, you had a great time with Mallory. I'm relieved to see you're able to make friends
- I took a peek outside and saw daddy partying in the most introverted display of socializing I've ever seen. It made me laugh. Uncle Mark and the other men joined him in a few minutes
