• Our original plan for today was to take all the big kids to Calaway Park for the day, but we decided to do an indoor activity instead.  Most of you were burnt from the day before at the lake, it was really hot outside, and you were all kind of tired and grouchy.  It suited me better as well.  Uncle Dan had the fantastic idea to go to Playland all together when they're here in August.  You were happy with that plan
• Jane and Katie, I gave you each $40 to spend.  Jane, I encouraged you to be wise with your spending.  Katie, I threatened you and said you had to spend it ALL or I would take back whatever was left over.  If only we could combine you girls somehow.  Jane, you spent your money with gusto and great pleasure.  Katie, you struggled.  I finally had to drag you into the Adidas store and force you to buy the slides you've been eyeing up for the last few months
• Katie, you finally got your turn with Mya today.  You love babies almost as much as I do.  You just had to pry her out of Dareian's arms, because, honestly, that girl is a total baby hog.  She's the worst
• Lila, you and Eden became best friends at the wedding.  The friendship continued, and tonight we dressed you two up in your Anna and Elsa costumes and took photos.  So cute.  After you had your fill of photos, you sat down in the dirt and played and played along with George and David.  We gave you all a bath after.  I should have taken a photo of the water.  It was disgusting.  But you guys didn't care one bit
• I had to say goodbye to my cousins and Auntie Vickie today.  It's always sad for me to leave them.   Saskatoon is just too far away!!!!
