braces

• Katie, today was the big day!  You got your braces.  You were excited and a little nervous, but mostly excited.
• Katie, you got to come to Lila's school to drop her off.  She loved showing you her classroom and introducing you to her teacher.
• You look adorable with your braces.  You got a teal color, and at your next appointment in October you're planning on getting orange and black for Halloween.
• Lila and George, you always fight about who gets to come with me when I go out in the evenings.  I try to alternate, and whoever comes with me acts like they won the grand prize.  Lila, tonight it was your turn.  We took Katie to practice.  You danced and twirled.  I couldn't have been happier because the light was amazing and I've been missing taking photos of you.
