uncle bruce & auntie judy

• Uncle Bruce and Auntie Judy stopped by this morning for a visit.  They're just wrapping up their cross Canada road trip and will be home on Thursday after four months on the road.  It was so great to see them.  I always enjoy visiting with them.
• Jane, you made your famous chicken pot pie.  I'm always amazed by the calm and matter of fact way you can cook for a crowd.  I think it's amazing that you can cook so confidently for a crowd at your age.  Good for you!
• Jane, you showed auntie Judy your artwork.  You've really grown as an artist over the last couple years.  It was fun to look though your sketch books and see your progress.
• Katie, you played soccer this evening in North Van.  It was supposed to be pouring rain, but miraculously, the rain stopped a couple minutes before the game started.  You played sooooooo well.  I was super impressed.  You seem to have been freed from your fear and hesitation and you're totally rocking it out there.  You were awarded the MVP award, and in my humble opinion, it was very well deserved.  So proud of you Katie Bean.
