watching daddy play

• Today was a lazy day.  It was great.  We don't get too many of these.
• Jane, you and I laid in bed and watched This is Us.  Such a great show.  I'm watching it for the second time.  It's just as good the second time around.  
• I made dinner (butter chicken), then packed some for George and I so we could go to the rink to watch daddy play.
• George, you ate your dinner as we watched.  You love being at the rink.  
• I actually feel kind of silly going to watch daddy play.  It's usually just me and a couple other girlfriends.  I used to watch daddy play when I was "just a girlfriend" and he played in the CHL at the Stan Halcro Arena in 100 Mile.  Daddy likes it though, and he always tried to show off for me.  Today he scored a goal and got an assist as we watched.  He always looks over at me afterward to make sure I was watching.  I actually was today!  Yay for me.  And Go Daddy Go!
• George, as usual, your favorite part of going to the rink was going to the dressing room with daddy.  I waited outside the door and gagged every time the door opened.  It smells so bad.  I don't know how you can stand going in there.
