movie night
- Lila, you made the weirdest breakfast today. You asked for waffles, then got tomatoes, cut them in half and squeezed the juice and seeds into each square of the waffle and ate it. You've been talking about this for the last few days, and finally got to try it. You loved it. I was repulsed...yet happy that you had such an original idea and made it happen.
- George, you were so happy to have Lila home from school today. You told her that you miss her so much when she's gone all day. We both miss her. She brings a lot of energy and excitement to our days.
- Katie, you've been waiting anxiously to hear whether you were selected for an exchange trip to Quebec. We got the email shortly after you got home from school...and YOU'RE IN!!!!!! I can't believe it. You'll get to spend a week in Quebec City in February and then we'll host a student in April. I'm so thrilled for you. I hope it gives you a taste for travel and opens your heart to different cultures and languages. I hope it enriches your life and expands your world view.
- We left shortly after school to go to Auntie Georgia's for a movie night. Usually we invite her over here, but she's still recovering from her hip replacement, so we went over there. Actually, we invited ourselves over, but she swore she was happy to have us. Lol. We had pizza then settled in to watch our movies. First, we watched Lego Batman, then the new Wonder Woman. Batman was 5/10, but Wonder Woman was a 9.5/10. Such a great movie!! And Gal Gadot has got to be the most beautiful woman I've ever seen.
- Lila, you were in your own little world while we watched movies. You were coloring in a coloring book. Completely focused on your art.
