  • George, you went to your very first birthday party today. The party was held at Crash Crawley’s from 10:30 until 12:30. You made a cute little card for Aldona, then we went to the store and you put together a little package for her that included glitter glue, scented markers and a sketch book. You were pretty pleased with your selections. I stayed with you at the party for a few minutes, but then had to leave to come home to pick Jane up to take her to work. You didn’t care one little bit that I left.

  • Lila, when I got back home you were swimming in about a foot of water in our bathtub, having the time of your life. You and water are like peanut butter and jelly.

  • Katie, you had a game this afternoon. Today was a perfect day to watch soccer. Warm and sunny, but not too hot. Auntie Georgia and Uncle Ben joined us to watch you and do some laps around the track.

  • Daddy and I went on a date this evening. We decided to go to White Spot because dad had a hankering for a Double Double. I’m not one to deny anyone a Double Double. It was so good. What a tasty burger.
