christmas minis
George, you got up nice and early this morning and got started on your colouring right away. You’ve been obsessed with colouring lately, which surprises me greatly. Until you started kindergarten, you had zero interest in colouring or writing, but now you can’t get enough of it. And the more complicated, the better.
Today was the day of Christmas Minis with MWAC. George and Lila, I took you down early, before people started arriving, so I could take your photos. To be honest, even though I got some cute shots of you, it was so frustrating. You two are like herding cats sometimes. I think this is why I prefer taking more candid photos because I just capture whatever is happening rather than a perfect vision of what you “should” look like.
George, you brought your baby, Annibelle Newbery, down for Christmas photos. You even dressed her in a little dress. It’s a dress that Jane, Katie, and Lila all wore for their first Christmas. So sweet.
Jane, you were on a date with Donny this morning. You went bowling, then the winner got to choose where to have lunch. I totally made you stop by in the middle of your date to take Christmas photos with me. You were very good sports about it, especially Donny. I told him that he should get used to having his photo taken if he plans to spend any time with our family.
Katie, you were so cute. You babysat this morning, then joined me with my camera club ladies for the Christmas photos. You were just hoping to be able to snuggle some of the babies who came. You and me…we love the babies, that’s for certain.
The Christmas minis were a big hit with all the ladies of the camera club. Kim was instrumental in organizing, gathering backgrounds and props, and getting everything set up. I’m so grateful for her! I’m hoping everyone got great shots of their kids.
