bunny shadow v2
- Jane, you've been at Tia's house for the last two nights. It was good to see you again. It's really quiet without you here, which doesn't really make sense because you're not very loud.
- I went to IKEA to meet Auntie Kim and the kids this morning. Felicity got a pay cheque, and needed to purchase some stuff there. We had fun. Those kids are pretty cute, and I really enjoyed hanging out with them without you guys around to distract me, or them.
- Jane and Katie, I finally bought the curtain rods for your bunk beds. It's only been two years since they were built. Now I just have to sew the curtains. I'm going to do my best to get them done this week.
- We went to Red Robin for an early dinner. I think it was around 4:30 when we got there. We were pretty much the only people there. We all really enjoy the burgers there. Jane, your burger looked especially fantastic.
- As we were eating, it occurred to me that exactly a year ago we went to Red Robin for dinner, then stopped in at Superstore and I ended up taking photos of you guys in the garage. One photo especially came to mind...of you two big girls sitting in the sunshine, and your shadow looked like the Easter bunny. We decided to go and try to recreate it. Luckily, the sun was shining into the garage almost the same as last year.
- We looked at my blog post from last year and giggled at one of the photos of Lila being grouchy and crying. Wouldn't you know, that part of the evening was reenacted without us even trying. Lol. You're a fiery little girl, Lila Lou.
- We had such a fun evening together. We laughed and visited and talked for a long long time. I love that you guys are generally pretty good sports about sitting in dirty public garages to fulfill my photographic fantasies.
- Last year's photos are here: https://www.melissanewbery.com/personal365/2017/4/15/sisters-in-a-garage. Maybe we'll have to make it a yearly tradition.
