bus stop
- George, we took the bus to go pick up our van at the mechanics this morning. You were so excited, even though it doesn't really look like it in the photos. It's such a great adventure to take the city bus. We ended up walking Lila to school and then catching the bus from there to Lougheed where the shop is. We've been going to 128 Auto for many many years now, and they've always been so good to us. When I walked in there yesterday, the owner even commented on my hair cut! We had our brakes done and got the side door fixed. Last week I was trying to make things better with the door because it was sticking a little. I cleaned it...which is exactly what you shouldn't do. Oops!
- After we picked the van up, we headed out to Abbotsford to meet auntie Kim at Highstreet for coffee. We got there a few minutes before her, so I decided to take the opportunity to get you some new flip flops, Georgie. We went to Old Navy and all the sandals were on sale. You picked out a pair of flip flops for everyone, and you did a great job! You're super observant and you knew what each person would like. You got green and black cactus for Katie, black and white stripes for Jane, pink and green flamingos for Lila, and turquoise for yourself. So perfect.
- George, you're normally so patient while Auntie Kim and I visit, but today you were antsy and distracted. Turns out daddy had promised you that I would take you to lunch at McDonalds. So we finished up our coffee and headed over to the Golden Arches. You were pleased with your lunch and allowed us to finish up our visit.
- Jane, I didn't attend the play tonight. I was feeling tired and needed an early night. You graciously gave me the night off.
