dandelions
- George, you and I went to Kim's house this morning to snuggle baby Audrey. Oh my. It was so nice to hold a wee one. So fresh. So sweet.
- George, you're always so excited to pick Lila up from school. We always peek around through the back windows to try and spy her.
- Lila, you're still skipping your little heart out. I love your "skipping face." It almost looks like you're in pain but you're actually having the time of your life.
- There's a grassy patch in the middle of the round about at your school. You guys love to play there. It's shady with big blossom trees and a few boulders to climb on, and an assortment of flowers blooming. Today it was full of dandelions that had gone to seed. Lila, you spent a lot of time gathering stems, then shook them to release all the seeds at once. It was fantastic. The seeds settled in your hair and made you look like a little duck with down.
- Jane, you actually came home today after school! It was great to have you around. We miss you.
