  • George, and Lila, you woke me up around 6:45 this morning.  We had a nice snuggle and chat, then I put on a show for you in the living room and went back to bed, just for a brief moment.  I woke up at noon!  Wow.  It felt pretty great.  I lazed around until 1:00 when you guys came and told me that your tummies were "actuawwy rumbwing fow weal."  I got up and made pancakes which you ate with great enthusiasm.
  • Katie, you went to Annika's to work on a math project.  You were there all day.  I went there around 3:30 to pick you up, but you weren't done yet.  It took you a lot longer than you anticipated.  Her dad brought you home around 8:00.  You work so hard on your school work!
  • Jane, I took you and the babies grocery shopping today.  You guys had dinner at Costco while I shopped.  You're very helpful with the little ones, and they listen to you like you're their second mom.  There aren't many 15 year olds who could manage a couple of little kids so well.  I spent $400 without even trying.  And I didn't even buy anything fun.  Just a ton of fruits and vegetables and some staples.  Amazing.  Our fridge is so full right now, but in a couple days it will look I need to go shopping again!
  • Lila, after shopping I took you to that little place George and I went to on Friday.  I knew you would love the flowers.  You picked a little bouquet, but just one of each type of flower because you wanted to leave flowers for other people to enjoy.
  • We also stopped in at the library.  George, you call the library the "live-berry."
