mom, i need a kleenex!

• Lila, you wore pajamas to school again today.  You haven't done that in a long while.
• You sneezed and George immediately started cracking up.  I knew there must have been massive amounts of snot and sure enough, it was impressive.
• Lila, you brought all your stuff home from school.  The end is in sight.  I can't wait until I don't have to walk up and down those stairs
• Katie, you had your last soccer practice of the year.  Finally.  Soccer is supposed to end in March, but here we are still going several times a week.  You're ready for a break.
• I dropped in to visit Auntie Cindy and Uncle Mark and to my great surprise, it was Cindy's birthday!  Talk about great timing!  I got to have a lovely visit AND birthday cake!  It was so nice to see them, and even nicer to see them by myself so I could give my full attention to talking instead of running after kids.  Daddy surprised me by showing up a few minutes after I got there.  He made me promise not to make him visit with anyone during June, so went by myself, but he just couldn't help it so he came.  I was so happy to see him.
