• Today was hot and sweaty, but Lila, you were begging to go to the turf field so you could put on your bat costume and run around.  Your bat costume consists of a headband with ears, a floral bikini, and sparkly strips of fabric that I rigged up with elastics to attach to your shirt and put around your wrists.  You're the most glamorous bat ever.
• George, you were super excited to practice soccer, but you were out there for about two minutes before you went and sat in the shade and took your socks and shoes off.  You and me baby boy, we're sweaty people.  
• Katie, you practiced shooting on net and daddy was your goalie.  I was enjoying watching you, then saw how cool your shadow looked in that harsh midday sun.  Those little legs of yours are so strong.  Amazing.
• Jane, you were working today.  You got your first pay cheque yesterday and are feeling motivated and inspired to keep earning.  I'm glad you like your job.
