mom & dad
- Lila, you were pretty sad this morning. "I miss my home and my teenager sisters and my dad and my cat. Why did you do this to me??? Why did you leave my teenager sisters at home?" We had a long snuggle, and a good cry, then facetimed them.
- There was the tiniest bit of snow this morning. George and Lila, you were thrilled and got suited up to play in it. Lila, you were making snow cupcakes on the stairs, and Georgie was bringing shovelfuls of snow over to you.
- Auntie Becca came out to play in the snow with you. You took turns pulling each other in the sled.
- We spent most of the day drinking tea and crocheting and chatting around the table. George, you were pretty sure you were making granny squares.
- George, grandma taught you how to play Trouble. I was surprised you understood all the rules and could focus long enough to finish a game.
- We took the time to go outside and take some portraits for Grandma's birthday. It was so pretty, and I know we'll be so happy to have these photos. It was so nice to have photos of grandma with her two dear friends.
- Jane and Katie, you guys went out on a movie and pho date with Auntie Georgia this afternoon. You went to see Coco. We had enjoyed it so much last weekend, Auntie Georgia wanted to take you to see it, and I was happy to arrange something for you to do since daddy was going to be at hockey. You said you loved it. It really was a great movie.
