new shoes

• Jane, when you were at Grandma's she made Korean beef and you LOVED it and asked me to get the recipe.  I finally made it tonight and you were so grateful and excited.  You even asked me to take pictures of it.
• Lila, you got new shoes yesterday.  You were pretty hesitant to get runners because they're not pretty enough for you.  We FINALLY found a pair that you like.  THey're sparkly, and colorful and light up when you walk.  I was so tired of shopping for shoes with you that I spend $55 on them.  You're pretty proud of them.  
• George, you love to cook with me.  You sit on the counter next to me and chit chat and stir the pot.  I love spending that time with you.
