at the playground
- Jane, you had another early morning play rehearsal. I love your dedication to the play.
- Lila, you cried and cried again this morning about going to school. You told me that it's not fair that Georgie gets to stay home and snuggle with me all day and you have to go to school. When we arrived at the school we looked at the board to see what was going on and decided the best time for me and George to come was during jogging club. We got to watch you and your classmates do laps around the field. You're hoping to run ten kilometers this week.
- Lila, after running club, it didn't make sense for George and I to go back home, so we hung out in your classroom for the remainder of the day. I looked around for something I could do in the classroom to help out and ended up sharpening all of the pencil crayons. It was a lot of work! I think I have blisters on my fingers.
- George, you played at the "lellow" park while Lila ran.
- George, as we were walking back to Lila's class, we passed by a spot where I have taken a lot of pictures of you guys. You saw it and asked me if I could take some photos of you. Heck ya!! You were standing there, but got too close to the edge and totally tumbled down the hill. It was so funny. We laughed and laughed.
- George and Lila, I needed some time after school to work on the materials for my meeting so I set the two of you up in the kitchen with some fishing line and little tiny beads. It kept you busy for about an hour. Now I know what to do when I need a little down time.
- I had a camera club meeting tonight. My friend Courtney came over for dinner beforehand. It was really fun to visit with her and I totally lost track of time and ended up being late for my own meeting!
- Katie, you came to my meeting with me so you could get some books at the library. You signed out a huge stack. You've really gotten back into reading lately. I love it!
