• Lila, it was hard to wake you up this morning.  You had such a nice little snuggle with daddy on the couch while you slowly joined the land of the living.
• I had the most beautiful photo session today.  I finally got to meet THE Jenn Ashton.  I went to her home to do some headshots.  We had a lovely visit and talked about all kinds of things.  My biggest take away from it was this...age is a BLESSING.  It truly is!  I feel like I've been on the verge of tears for a couple days now, but as I drove home, I cried happy tears.  This photo session was exactly what I needed today.  I can't wait to work through her photos and give them to her.
• George, Auntie Georgia watched you while I worked.  You packed up a whole ton of stuff to take over there.  You requested tomatoes and orange pepper and watermelon as a snack.  You had a great time, as usual.  I'm so grateful for the help, and even more so that you love going there.
• Lila, we played for a long time after school.  There was a girl on the playground who was being really mean to you.  It took a lot of self control not to step in and tell her to bug off.  I'm glad I didn't though because you handled yourself very well.  
• George and Lila, you came with me to take Katie and Sara to soccer.  On the way home we stopped in at the mall to pick up some photos from London Drugs.  As we passed by Tim Hortons, George, you casually mentioned that your tummy was really hungry for donuts.  Ha.  So subtle.  So, of course, we had a donut.  You were so silly after you were done.  You jumped up on the table to "meditate."
