tulip fields
- Today I got up super early and went to photograph Kim and Ross's baby girl be born! It was so awesome. I would be happy photographing new life for the rest of my life. I was dying to get my hands on that fresh little one, but I will have to wait until I can visit in a couple days. I really really really like babies.
- George, Auntie Georgia came over and watched you for a few hours while I was photographing and Dareian and Ethan went out for a bit. You always have such a good time together. We are blessed to have Auntie Georgia in our lives.
- The tulip fields were on Dareian's to-see list. And I was more than happy to oblige. Heather, Dareian and I planned to spend the evening there.
- Lila, I asked you to come with us. You went to get changed and came out in this old costume Jane wore for Halloween one year. I can't say I was disappointed! You're so cute. You fell asleep on the way out to Abbotsford and used the seatbelt to hold your head up. Good thinking!!
- There were tulip crowns people could use to take photos. So fun! They were a little big for you Lila, but you wanted to try them none the less.
- Heather, your little baby bump is adorable. Thanks for being a good sport about photos :)
- Dareian, my favorite photo of you is your bun sticking up out of the blooms. Haha. You're so silly. You make me laugh.
- I can't get over the different types of tulips they have there. Some of them look like peonies. Gorgeous!
- Lila, you collect a huge pile of tulips from the ground that were already picked or had broken. You were completely delighted with the whole thing. We put them in my bag and brought them home where you lovingly arranged them into different vases, organized by color.
- Katie, you had soccer tonight, so couldn't come with us. I'm so happy to be sharing driving with Shirley again. We drive you and Sara to soccer and she drives you home. Works out very nicely. And Sara is such a nice girl, it's great to see her regularly again.
- While us ladies were in Abbotsford, the boys stayed home and played NHL and drank beer...you know, guy stuff.
