• Today was so fun!  The shoot with the kids in the superhero costumes was really great.  The costumes and hair and makeup were amazing!  Jane, one of the kids couldn't come, so you stepped in and wore the orange costume.  You're adorable.  I love how you have no self consciousness when you're on stage or in front of a camera.  You put your all into it.  It's a great quality to have.
• After the shoot was over, Tia got dressed in a costume and I took some photos of the two of you together.  Oh, you two.  So cute.  I love it that you're 15 and it was still lots of fun to dress up and take photos.
• Tia shyly asked me if I could take photos of her afterward.  Of course!  She dressed in her most teenage angsty clothes and we walked around their complex looking for the grittiest places we could find.  I think we did pretty well!
• Jane, you spent the night at Tia's again, so daddy and I had a nice quiet evening together.  It's very refreshing to spend some uninterrupted time together.
• Katie, grandma surprised you today by telling you that they were all going to Penticton for the weekend to stay in a hotel.  Today is grandma's birthday, so they decided to celebrate together out of town.  You are having a great time.  I'm so glad you had this opportunity to have a little break and a change of scenery.
