katie bean
- Lila, your outfit was killer this morning. Glad to see you haven't lost your flair for fashion.
- Katie, you left on the Greyhound at noon today to go to Kelowna to spend the weekend with Grandma, Auntie Shari, Auntie Jenny, Keegan and Jack. You were a little nervous because it was your first solo trip, but you were more excited than nervous.
- I helped you get settled on the bus, then George and I waited out in front until you drove away. I was blowing you kisses and sending you a little last minute love. I saw you giggling and rolling your eyes when the guy across the aisle made a joke about it. Haha. I'm proud to be "that mom" who can't even contain her love for her kids. Katie, you are so loved. I treasure you.
- When the bus pulled away, George hugged Sweetheart and looked like he was going to cry and said, "I'm gonna miss K-Beanie." I love that he has his own special name for you.
- Lila, after school we headed downtown to pick up some rental gear for my job tomorrow. It was a slow trip there and back with the long weekend traffic. While we were at the store we watched two geese wandering down the alley. They were so out of place. It made me giggle.
- I spent the evening setting the equipment up. I'm really excited for my job tomorrow! I love love love learning new photography skills and I've been reading and talking to people and watching tutorials. Can't wait to give it a try! I'll be shooting on a green screen with studio lights and little models in costumes. So fun!
- Jane, you came with me to set up, then spent the night at Tia's. Daddy and I were down to two kids for the night. You know you have a lot of kids when it feels like a vacation to only have a four and five year old.
