true friend
  • Today was a busy day!  Katie, you had an exhibition game against another Coquitlam team that is a tier higher, but a year younger.  You guys were pretty evenly matched.  It was a great game.  Very entertaining to watch.  You look like you're getting more and more comfortable in your new position at midfield.
  • George and Lila, you ran around and played like crazy people the whole time.  You stopped just for a few minutes to do some drawing.
  • Rick and Maria and Ben and Georgia came over for "lupper."  Jane, you made your famous chicken pot pie.  It was the best one yet.  So good.
  • You know someone is a real friend when they walk into your messy house, sit down and fold your laundry.  Lila, you helped Auntie Maria with the laundry by telling her who everything belonged to.  You were pretty proud of your contribution.  Maria, thank you.  Thank you so much. I'm drowning in laundry these days.
  • Jane, you showed everyone your new drawings.  It's so nice to see you excited and enthusiastic about your art.
  • Katie, you showed everyone select lines of your poems.  I love that you write poetry.  It's beautiful.  I hope you continue to get your heart out in words.
  • I photographed everyone plus a couple more friends.  I feel like I'm pretty well prepared for my camera club meeting on Tuesday.
  • Today is Auntie Kim's birthday.  I usually see her on her special day, but not this year!  Felt a little weird.
