our choir girl
- Katie, today was the day I've been waiting for for quite some time. I missed all the usual opportunities to hear your choir sing, so it was all riding on today. You know how much I love choral music.
- My favorite piece you sang this year was Blackbird. Although, you also killed It Don't Mean a Thing. Your choir director is a genius. And her sister rocks the piano like no other. I can't get enough of it. I'm so sad that you're not going to be in choir next year...and that Ms. Gallello will most likely be retired by the time George and Lila get to middle school.
- I dropped you off early and dad joined me about half way through the concert. He's so tired. June is a crazy month for him. He missed the beginning band and advanced band and arrived a few minutes before you performed. We are so darn proud of you Katie.
