annibelle
- I've been waiting for today for what seems like an eternity. Auntie Heather had a c-section scheduled for this morning, and we'd finally be able to meet the newest Matsuda!
- I started texting uncle Danny at 4am, as I was awake photographing little Olive's birth, and I knew he'd be awake already. I can't imagine how calm and relaxing it must be to know exactly when your baby is going to be born.
- I waited and waited to hear the news, and around 9:15 (our time...10:15 in Alberta) I got a photo of the three of them in the OR. Ahhhhh. She's so cute! And so little and sweet. Annibelle Josephine Fujiko Matsuda. Born at 9:38 August 5. 7 lbs, 2oz.
- Dareian was allowed to go into the OR with them, and she took fabulous photos of the birth. I'm so jealous. I wish I could have been there too, but what a special way for big sister to meet little sister...there's only 23 years between them! Uncle Danny will have the 1st, and I'm assuming the last Matsuda grandchildren. So now grandma and grandpa have 19 grandkids, ranging in age from newborn to 23 (almost 24) years old. That's incredible!
- I cannot wait to get my hands on that baby. Oh man, I love babies so much. Imagine what I'll be like as a grandma?
- Danny and Heather, I'm so very happy for you. You're going to be the world's greatest parents. Annibelle is a lucky little girl.
- The following photos are Dareian's. I'm so crazy proud of her photog skills.
