Georgie, you were so excited to go back to school this morning. You got dressed, packed your backpack, got your shoes and coat on, then stood in the living room patiently waiting for the rest of us.
As we walked to school, I really looked around and noticed how pretty our neighborhood is. How fortunate are we to walk amongst beautifully landscaped and manicured yards, with big trees and flower gardens everywhere…plus the mountains around us? Amazing.
Today was my very first day with everyone in school full time. I went for coffee in Auntie Kim in Abbotsford. We were there a really long time. It was wonderful. I made it back home just in time to fit in a quick nap before I needed to go back to school for pickup.
Katie, you had an appointment with Dr. Chang after school. We were quite early, so we hung out in the mall for a bit. There used to be a big mural there, but they painted over it. You noticed the pretty light, and told me I should take some photos. You don’t have to ask me twice!
