George, you were the special helper today. You were very serious about your big day. You got to sit on the blue chair, choose the bench buddies, lead all the lineups, and help Mrs. Bellet with things. When I picked you up, you were beaming with pride, especially when Mrs. Bellet told me you did an excellent job of being the special helper. Oh George, I’m so glad you’re rocking kindergarten.
Katie, you had another orthodontist appointment this morning. We were hoping you could get those blue things off your back teeth so you could chew again, but no luck. You’ll have them for another three weeks when we’ll go back and get them checked again.
George and Lila, I took you to colony farms to play after school. You both love looking at the gardens and seeing what we can see. The weather was really beautiful today, and I want to take you outside as much as I can before the rain sets in.
The spiders are out in full force these days. I tried taking some photos of them, but I just can’t get the hang of it for some reason.
Daddy left this morning for grade 8 camp. It was a bit of a frazzled morning because he couldn’t find his glasses. The whole gang was looking for them, but they were nowhere to be found.
Jane, you finally have a day off You’ve been really busy lately and are having trouble fitting everything in. You announced yesterday that you’re done doing chores around the house because they’re not a high enough priority for you. Honestly, I was a little surprised and didn't even know what to say. I suppose we’re going to have to come to some sort of compromise about this.
