I was supposed to take family photos this morning, but it was pouring rain again! They were actually scheduled for last week, but it was raining then too. Hopefully we get them done soon! If only the weather would cooperate.
Katie, your game was in West Van late this afternoon. It was cold and rainy, as it usually seems to be on soccer days. The teams were evenly matched which made for an exciting game. You guys are starting to get quite physical, and you got knocked to your butt a couple times, which irritated you to no end. You got pretty pissed off, but I love it when you get angry because you become a force to be reckoned with. Too bad it was at the end of the game and not the beginning!
I tried out my new lens and must have been a sight. Because it was raining, I had to have an umbrella and my camera and MASSIVE lens were on a monopod. I didn’t have enough hands to hold everything, so I Jimgineered a solution. I tucked the umbrella handle into the inside pocket of my raincoat, then zipped my coat up. It worked!! I was so proud of my little hack.
