i heart babies
I’m slowly getting my voice back. You’re all disappointed.
Jane, you were the only one who had school today. Pretty much the entire district had a pro-d day, except for your school. You felt ripped off.
George and Lila, we hung out at home. You guys were driving me crazy. So loud. So much fighting. So much movement. So much thumping around. So many interruptions. I probably should have taken you outside, but the weather was terrible and I’m still not feeling very well.
Katie, you left Calgary this afternoon. Uncle Danny sent me photos of you going through security. He said you guys had a very good time this weekend. This is what he texted me, “It was great. She’s such a good kid. We laughed a lot! We’ll miss her.” I’m so proud of you for traveling by yourself, being a good house guest, and taking the time to connect with your family.
Lila, you made a welcome home card for Katie. You spelled it out all by yourself. (Will come home Katie.) It was very cute. You’re always making little things for the people you love.
Katie, daddy and the babies went to the airport to pick you up while I went to the midwives for the last meeting of the Connecting Pregnancy group. Four brand new babies were there, so I was pretty much in baby heaven. So much sweetness.
