George, you have soccer every Saturday at 9:00am. I love the consistency in the time and field. It makes my life so much easier. This week, Katie came to watch you play and we let dad sleep in. You loved having her there. You are hilarious when you’re playing soccer. Pretty much every time you touch the ball, you do some kind of crazy move and end up on the ground with a huge smile on your face. Very entertaining to watch.
George, after your game, you always like to go and watch the “big boys” play. You watch very intently and ask me to commentate the play…which I do…even though I’m pretty sure anyone who actually knew the game of soccer would die if they were listening.
We are so in love with Zeus. He wandered around the house all afternoon, but always ended up at the window, watching the world go by, like a little dog. He’s the best pet we’ve ever had.
We celebrated Thanksgiving today. Uncle Ben and Auntie Georgia came by around 1:00 to put the turkey in the oven. Uncle Ben took off to take care of his various pools and things, and Auntie Georgia hung out with us and helped us get ready for the dinner. I had an easy job this year! I provided the venue and the veggies and mashed potatoes, and our guests did the rest. That’s how to host a turkey dinner!
Uncle Rick and Auntie Maria joined us later around 4:30. They brought their world famous pumpkin pie and home made cranberry sauce…and a bottle of their blueberry wine! I was having such a lovely time visiting and eating and chatting, that I forgot to take photos!
