sick

sick
  • Sick. We’re so sick. Lila, it all started with you puking during the early hours of Tuesday morning.

  • George, you and I started this morning. Dad joined us a little later in the afternoon. He had to quickly run out of his classroom, puke in the courtyard, then come back in and finish a few things before he could leave. Poor daddy.

  • George, I have to say that you’re not a very good patient. I’ve never heard someone complain so much about not feeling well and not being able to eat or drink. I didn’t know better, I might have thought you hadn’t had anything for a few days instead of a few hours. Goodness. I think you’ve been blessed with the man-flu genes.

  • The last time we were sick like this was when Jane and Katie were in the CInderella play at Hillcrest when they were in grades 6 and 8. I remember it being so brutal because at the time, George and Lila, you were only 2 and 3, and it was total and complete chaos. There should be some kind of rule that if the mom gets sick, a fairy godmother comes down to take care of the rest of the family.
