day 4 : 69 days of summer
I photographed another graduation this morning. The kids were beautiful. The parents were proud. It was lovely.
I stopped in at grandma and grandpa’s to have a visit and set up a phone holder in their vehicle so they can start to use GPS to get around. Their yard is nice and shady in the afternoon, so we sat out there and chatted. In the middle of last week, I gave them a plant that had been gifted to me. It had bloomed, and the flowers were incredible! They said they saw this plant everywhere when they were in Hiroshima, so they’re quite pleased and want to get more. Their garden is starting to take shape. It’s the perfect amount of space for them.
George and Lila, dad took you to the pool for a few hours this afternoon. When I got home, you were all happy and cool. George, you gave me crap for not telling you that I was going to visit grandma and grandpa. You said that I was gone way too long and it’s hard for you to live without me for that long. (I was gone about six hours) You’re so cute.
Dad made burgers for dinner. i have a feeling we’ll be eating a lot of burgers this summer as I’ve officially put him in charge of cooking for July and August. I’m still so tired of cooking.
