love in the garage
- We played in the garage this morning because the rain has returned and I forgot to bring jackets when we went to drop the girls off at school
- You guys played soccer, rode bikes, splashed in the puddles and then went down to the cave under the stairs in the courtyard
- You guys had a fight, so I sat you on either end of the ledge to cool off. I went to tidy up the bikes, and when I looked over at you, you were scooting towards each other and then kissed and hugged and apologized. If only everyone could solve their differences so quickly and with such open hearts
- Lila, you're still wearing your scarf on your head. You're the best kind of ridiculous
- We explored the building a bit and found the party room. You played ping pong for a while. George, you can actually serve the ball, and hit it back to Lila. I'm always so impressed with your hand/eye coordination and general athleticism.
- Katie, you volunteered in your school's Crepe Cafe today. You said you had the best time. When I picked you up, you were beaming and had a skip in your step. You love being around your friends and helping people.
- Katie, after your piano lesson we went to Metrotown. You're my best shopping buddy, although you're such a bad influence on me. I spend way too much when we're together. I got lost in the underground parking, but we managed to get home eventually
- Jane, today marked the end of your electronics ban. You lived through a month with no phone! No easy feat for a 14 year old girl. I'll miss you. Lol.
