bummed out

• I'm pretty sick today.  Daddy convinced me to go to the doctor and I found out I have strep throat.  I haven't been feeling well since Thursday, but it never really occurred to me that I might have anything more than a common cold.  I need a few days of rest and relaxation.  Hahaha.  Never gonna happen
• The sun final shone today.  It felt like a miracle.  Katie, you were doing some homework on my computer first thing in the morning, and you looked so lovely sitting there in the golden glow of the sun
• Lila, you are also sick.  You woke up with a fever again and demanded some medicine.  You're pretty quiet and snuggly when you're sick.  You always prefer to sleep on mommy's bed
• Jane, your phone is a permanent appendage these days.  Tumblr seems to be your poison.  You can't get enough of it
• George, you were itching to get outside today.  You yelled out in y our little fog horn of a voice "It's a sunny day!  I wove sunny days!!!!"  We went to Mundy park and played for half an hour or so.  But Lila really wasn't feeling well, so we ended up coming back home much earlier than we normally would
• George, you were pretty sad when we had to leave the park.  You sat with your little face in your hands and pouted for a bit.  But, hey, thanks for sitting in that pretty little patch of light.  Much appreciated :)
• I had a camera club meeting tonight (Moms With a Camera).  I so enjoy the ladies in the club.  They're awesome.  We've managed to form a nice little community.  We talked about how to take video with a DSLR, then edit it together to make a little film.  I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with!
