day of rest

• We didn't do much today.  It was a day of rest for all of us.  Daddy slept until 11:00.  Jane, you slept until 9:30, which is a miracle!  I think your previous record was 8:30
• Katie, you were pretty quiet today,  You facetimed Keegan for a while, and other than that, you were reading and watching Jane the Virgin.  You read the Little Princess and loved it.  I'm glad you decided to read a classic like that
• Jane, we listened to the Book of Mormon today.  It made me laugh.  Especially Turn it Off.  Oh my gosh.  So funny.  We showed it to daddy and he even had to concede that it was pretty great, even though it came from a musical
• Lila and George, you were crazy today.  And super naughty.  You drew all over the TV and the builtins in the living room.  It wasn't good.  Daddy saw you and sent you straight to bed.  I think it was only 6:45, but you fell asleep right away.  Maybe you need to start having naps again.  I took you to the grocery store to pick up a few things for Fathers Day tomorrow, and it took us an hour and a half because I had to give you guys three time outs in the short walk to and from the store. You exhaust me sometimes
• Lila, you were talking about Uncle Danny's wedding.  You said that they might be soooooo handsome and sooooooo beautiful that you might fall over.  Ahahaha.  You're so cute.  I texted Uncle Danny and told him and he laughed, then said that he secretly hopes you're right
• Jane, you gave me an hour long massage tonight.  It was amazing.  And you did it with no strings attached.  I loved every single second of it
• Lila, you were super loving towards Jane today.  You kept going to her and climbing up on her lap and telling her that you love her
• I didn't take any photos today.  I'm thinking of taking a day off each week.  Saturday seems to be the obvious choice as we don't often have anything planned and everyone uses it as a rest day.  I did however, spend some time in Lightroom creating a brand new preset for my photos.  I think I like it.  I'll test it out over the next while and see how it goes
